Responsibilities:
- Lead the quality engineering (QE) efforts and promote best practices in an Agile development setup
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the product is developed to high standards
- Verify product features align with the defined acceptance criteria
- Design, build, and maintain test environments, frameworks, test plans, regression suites, and test cases to adapt to evolving requirements
- Identify and address gaps in testing, including edge cases and potential blind spots
- Execute a variety of testing approaches—manual, automated, functional, exploratory, cross-platform, and performance—across iOS, Android, and web platforms
- Perform system integration testing with third-party systems and provide comprehensive test reports
- Work with developers to implement and enhance Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in Quality Engineering or a related field
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, with strong analytical thinking, detail orientation, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, or Playwright
- Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices
- Experience in non-functional testing including performance, load, and security testing
- Strong communicator and effective team collaborator
- Good grasp of mobile (iOS and Android - React Native) and web technologies (e.g., React.js, Node.js), including related debugging tools
- Proficient in JavaScript unit testing using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine
- Proactive in identifying opportunities to improve testing processes, including tool development
- Bonus: Certification in Software Quality Assurance
