Responsibilities:

  • Work in a scrum team with other agile developers in Singapore and different countries
  • Design, develop and deploy Secure Embedded Operating Systems
  • Design, architects and develop cyber secured software components on micro controller platforms
  • Actively contribute and lead requirements definition, software design, development, testing and integration of secure software
  • Foster continuous improvement based on root cause analysis, problem solving, new practice deployment, …
  • Contribute to the improvement of existing technology platform and development methodologies through prototyping and patent proposal
  • Manage people within your team and ensure their development (skills, coaching, career, mindset), the adequacy with the expected needs (quality and quantity) at the right time and the allocation to the projects
  • Ensure that all aspects of the discipline (practices and tools) are controlled and stable all along lifecycle phases of projects
  • Ensure the capitalization and sharing of knowledge and assets (building blocks, cost estimating models, best practices, etc.)
  • Ensure implementation of multi-project synergies in order to optimize cost of technical solutions
  • Perform technical reviews associated with your discipline on projects
  • Provide budget and schedule estimates for Work Packages assigned to your team for projects
  • Ensure efficiency of the team through objectives management and KPI dashboard
  • For simplified project, manage the solution engineering activities for the related level (solution or solution element)
  • Jointly with the PDA (Project Design Authority):
    - Identifies and reviews the technical risks and opportunities and the related mitigation plans of project
    - when used, establishes and maintains the Key Decisions tree and associated actions
    - Prepares the technical solution and submit it to the Design Authority (DA) approval
    - Approves the main project engineering reviews and deliverables
    - Organizes technical meetings and peer reviews in order to perform the Solution or Solution Element technical assessment and validation

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering, or related fields
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in technical project management
  • Proficient in C (C++ is considered a plus) / Java
  • Proven experience with team management in a technological environment, either hardware electronics or embedded software
  • Interest or experience in Agile/SCRUM methodology and JIRA tool
  • Ability to build and promote a positive workplace where you share feed-back culture and invest in the development of your team
  • Customer-oriented and Agile mindset, in-depth problem solving skills, ability to take and meet commitments
  • Support and encourage innovative ideas, create and give space for curiosity
  • Able to switch from day-to-day management activities to strategic thinking and long-term vision
  • Possess the following knowledge will be a plus:
    - Software security
    - Javacard
    - FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis)
    - Testing methodologies
    - Continuous integration & delivery tool suites
    - Automotive standards
    - Static Code Analysis tools
    - MISRA-C

  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
