Job Description
Software Engineer Sr Consultant I implement applications following 12-factor principles to build out the product and iterative enhancements. They own the full stack of software products; developing and implementing frontends (web or mobile), and backend services. They leverage test driven development and continuous integration to ensure agility and quality of products. They actively participate in the decision-making process of the team ensuring that the simplest appropriate technology and design is chosen to meet user needs.Application Developer develops Java/React JS code for intermediate modules,participates in design reviews, conducts code reviews, creates test plans and resolves moderate defects. TheDeveloper designs, documents, reviews, and maintains components of software solutions for intermediateprojects. It also includes reacting to production problems or supporting production changes where thoseapplications are operating.• Strong understanding of Java and EIS concepts
• 4 to 8 year of experience
• Knowledge of the Insurance business is a must.
• Highly motivated with good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lead conversations and coordinate activities across various time zones.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assignments, ability to work well under pressure, as well as abilityto work independently.

• Exposure and knowledge to Agile methodologies
• Experience in Java development and web front-end development.
• Experience deploying to cloud environments a plus
• Exposure to test-driven development
• Strong communication skills
