Core Responsibilities

  • Work closely with virtual teams (BSA, QA, Development, Scrum Master and Project Managers) to ensure timely delivery of projects.

  • Understand the business ask and translate it into technical solution for the team to develop

  • Identify and participate in improvement, reduce technical debt, refactor and simplify solution wherever required.

  • Ongoing support of business applications by problem analysis, resolution, reporting and escalation as required.

  • Participate and share Functional/Technical knowledge with the rest of the team.

  • Participating/Leading all technical discussion.

  • Create and maintain supporting documentation.

  • Work in tandem with other technical teams in API Platform and address change in priorities in time to support Business

Responsibilities

  • I design, develop, support, deploy and/or test advanced technology solutions of medium scale 

  • I have strong functional knowledge that supports me in my deliveries, and I am an SME for the process/application.

  • I participate in code reviews, ability to approve small/medium scale features.

  • I contribute to interviewing and assessing candidates to help us build a diverse and talented team and mentor technical developers/ designers in the team.

  • I contribute to engineering events and motivate my team members to participate and contribute. I keep myself informed on latest industry practices.

  • I influence continuous improvement within the team.

  • I ensure documentation and creation of knowledge repository and influence team to contribute and use it.

Key Qualifications and experience:

Skills

  • 4 to 8 years of experience in Java, Springboot, API development (REST), web proxies

  • Should have knowledge of application deployment and Software development life cycle.

  • Knowledge on Application/Web Server- IIS/JBoss Server.

  • Must have experience of command line, BitBucket, automation testing

  • Working experience in Agile Teams

  • Knowledge of JMeter.

  • Experience of Light4j is a plus

  • Solid analytical and trouble shooting skills

  • Strong leadership, planning, organizational and consulting skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Self-initiator, fast learner and ability to multitask

 Technical Credentials:

  • Experience in Java, Springboot , API development, Rest concepts, web proxies

  • Knoweldge of command line, BitBucket

  • Knowledge of JMeter.

  • Experience of Light4j is a plus

  • Solid analytical and trouble shooting skills

  • Strong leadership, planning, organizational and consulting skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Self-initiator, fast learner and ability to multitask
