Social Media and Editorial Intern

Lifestyle Asia Singapore is looking for a Social Media and Editorial Intern to support content creation across their website, Instagram, and other digital platforms.

This role is suited to someone who is comfortable turning editorial ideas into timely, visually strong, platform-aware social content. The intern will help create short-form videos, static posts, event coverage content, while also contributing to written editorial work.

The role combines creative execution with editorial discipline.

Responsibilities

• Create social media content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, including short-form videos, reels, static visuals, carousels, and story-based content.
• Support coverage of product reviews, events, launches, and industry developments through social-first formats.
• Film and edit short videos for social media, including product features, event highlights. 
• Assist in planning content ideas that can be adapted across editorial and social platforms.
• Write and pitch editorial stories aligns with Lifestyle Asia’s tone, standards, and coverage priorities.
• Contribute to editorial writing, including news pieces, short features, event coverage, product-related articles, or supporting research.
• Work with the editorial team to ensure social content aligns with Lifestyle Asia’s tone, standards, and coverage priorities.

Requirements

• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• An interest in culture, fashion, jewellery and other lifestyle beats. 
• Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and current short-form content formats.
• Familiarity with tools such as CapCut, Canva, or similar editing software.
• Basic ability to shoot and edit videos for social media using mobile or desktop editing tools.
• Ability to write clearly, accurately, and with good structure.
• Comfortable working across both creative and editorial tasks.
• Organised and able to manage multiple pieces of content at once.
• Comfortable attending events, handling products, and working in a fast-moving editorial environment.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and improve quickly. 

Good to have 

• Experience creating TikTok or Instagram content for a personal account, school project, publication, or brand.
• Prior writing experience in journalism, media, school publications, blogs, or social content.
