About the Role
Monks is hiring for a Social Content Creator.
Your primary responsibility will be collaborating exclusively with our extra well-known Singaporean client. This is a rare opportunity for a lifestyle and sports-oriented content creator who is attuned to cultural trends and can swiftly convert ideas into captivating social media content.
As a solo creative powerhouse, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the client’s social media impact in Singapore. Your contributions will involve providing innovative creative insights for this client’s super wide-ranging offering to their audiences. If you are passionate about crafting social content that bridges culture, community, and brands, this is your chance to drive social creative excellence for a famous Singaporean brand. You will have the autonomy to experiment and influence the social narrative.
The coolest part: this client is making a large move to increase its role in Singaporean culture. Essentially, this project will be seen and noticed by everyone in the country in the next few years - it’s something to talk about for years to come.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Engage and communicate with clients to understand their business challenges, ambitions, project requirements, and any limitations
- Assemble and manage a team to best respond to client requests and address their business needs
- Brief, communicate, and negotiate objectives, tasks, deliverables, and deadlines with both external and internal stakeholders
- Guide teams to develop proposals, including marketing and communication strategies, creative concepts, budgets, and timelines
- Lead and manage internal and external meetings and presentations
- Think strategically and act as a gatekeeper to ensure the work aligns with the client’s business objectives
- Ensure the timely delivery of projects end-to-end, on budget, and meeting the quality excellence expected by both the Agency and the client
- Establish and manage processes, roles, responsibilities, and tools between the Agency and clients to ensure effective and efficient workflows
- Manage commercial activities, such as developing accurate quotes, documenting commercial communications (including sign-offs and closures), ensuring timely invoicing and payments, updating finance trackers/tools, and assisting in profitability analysis
- Lead and facilitate after-action reviews and analysis to drive continuous learning and improvement
- (If applicable) Manage and grow internal teams, including Account Managers, Senior Account Executives, Account Executives, and Interns
About YouThe Essentials:
- At least 3+ years in social native content creation of short form video and stills.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing great craft around lifestyle or sports content.
- Good creative judgment, with hands-on skills in design, video editing, and copywriting using social tools.
- Experience creating for fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of social media algorithms and what works on IG, TikTok and other platforms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, able to navigate complexity and unlock opportunities.
- A collaborative team player who values diverse opinions.
