· Achieving Orders and Sales target, YOY growth and margin across all analytical product lines
· Develop sales strategies to build opportunities including researching and identifying new business opportunities (existing and new accounts); building strong rapport; providing technical information and clarifying customers’ doubts if any; configures and prepares quotations as well as closing deals.
· Practice key account management skills – Taking accountability and ownership of accounts assigned. Includes scheduling customers’ visits, understanding customers’ pain points, facilitating application problems solving with internal teams, and coordinating pre- and post-sales activities.
· Practice sense of urgency and escalate issues early if any.
· Understand market trends and build knowledge on competitive offerings.
· Discuss and create marketing activities with relevance to PerkinElmer’s solution while creating customers’ needs.
· Responsible for sales activities to meet the sales goals and develop new prospects including penetration into competitive accounts.
· Accountable for CRM data hygiene - Setup, maintain, monitor, and cultivate accurate customer information and sales opportunities in SFDC in an organized timely manner.
· Prepare and deliver presentations through face-to-face visits / seminars to address customers’ business needs by accurately positioning PerkinElmer solutions
· Bring back information for internal discussion, strategize and create business plans.
· Work closely with internal applications, service teams and product line leaders and provide good customer support.
· Create growth opportunities
Submit accurate and timely sales forecasts. Develop business plans through quarterly plans of action.
Academic Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Masters in Chemistry
At least 5-8 years of sales experience in Analytical instruments e.g. Chromatography, inorganic, material characterisation equipment
Good interpersonal and presentation skills in both verbal and written English & Chinese
Have own transport and willing to travel if required.
Independent and able to work as a team.
Computer literate, knowledge in MS Office - Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Experience on SFDC usage is an added advantage
