Business Need / Purpose of Role
The VSS Coordinator is responsible in providing crew logistics support. The role acts in accordance with government legislation and regulations, port rules and Inchcape procedures and policies to ensure an efficient and optimized port call and voyage. Provide high level of service delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Optimization of ISS owned/chartered passenger vans and launch boats
- Coordinate hospitality services which include hotel accommodation, meals and airport meet and greet services
- Coordinate other crew travel / logistic services as assigned
- Administrative support after office hours
- Monitoring and update Operation Teams on consignment/spare received after office hour
- All jobs are performed in accordance to local regulatory guidelines and the following ISS Policies and Procedures:
- ISS Corporate Compliance
- Ethnics
- Health Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE)
- Standard Operating Procedures defined by the Management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Process/dispatch passenger launch and transport orders which include proper documentation for DA processing- Hotel bookings
- Visa applications
- Arrange meet/greet service
- Dispatch/collection of parcels/spares
Education/Experience:
- At least 1 year of working experience either In ship agency service industry or In Oil/Gas/Offshore industry
- At least GCE “O” Level with credit in English and Mathematics
- Diploma in Maritime Studies - Preferred
