Key Responsibilities

  • Designing safe, seaworthy, and operationally efficient stowage plans for container vessels
  • Advocating and executing round‑trip stowage planning across regions
  • Ensuring full compliance with safety, stability, stress, and dangerous goods segregation requirements
  • Optimizing vessel utilization to achieve maximum intake with minimum operational cost
  • Driving key planning objectives including Trim Optimization, Crane Split, Shiftings, Master Planning, and Slot Utilization
  • Following up closely with terminals and vessel command to ensure smooth execution of stowage plans
  • Proactively identifying and addressing operational risks or constraints that may impact vessel operations
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders such as Marine, Terminal Operations, Network, Deployment, and Regional teams
  • Maintaining accurate system updates, records, and documentation
  • Contributing to the establishment, review, and continuous improvement of Global Planning SOPs
Requirements

  • Proactive, responsible, and able to make sound decisions in time‑critical situations
  • Analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable handling complex operational scenarios
  • Adaptable and agile in a dynamic, 24/7 operational environment

A strong communicator and team player, capable of working with cross‑functional and multicultural stakeholders

  • Preferred qualifications and background:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (any discipline)
  • Experience in Stowage Planning, Terminal Planning, Seafaring, or Marine Operations is an advantage
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years of non‑maritime work experience are welcome
  • Familiarity with stowage planning systems and tools is a plus
  • Good command of written and spoken English
