From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).
GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.
Role Overview:

Involve in HPT Nozzles Kaizen as a fresh eye from 19-23 May (FW 22)
-
Reflections on Kaizen as a fresh eye and get involved in prep work for Large Comp Kaizen in FW 24
-
Navigate and familiarise with FLIGHT DECK fundamentals and the purpose (~1 week)
-
Detailed walk through of Daily Shop Management from Level 7 to 5
-
Detailed walk through of Obeya Room with FLIGHT DECK links
-
Prep work on Quality Kaizen planned in FW28
-
Shadow FLIGHT DECK Specialist coaching Kaizen execution during Quality Kaizen week

Familiarise him on Kaizen Playbook

Shadow Shing Logistics team preparing for Shing event
Required Qualifications:
-
Under-graduate pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from a local or internationally recognized University
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Familiarity with Lean tools and Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
