This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile.

Job Responsibilities

  • Exercise the personal-to-holder Credit Discretionary Limit responsibly, applying sound judgment, integrity, and prudent credit risk principles.
  • Stay current with macroeconomic trends, industry developments and regulatory changes, ensuring credit decisions incorporate relevant sector and country risks.
  • Maintain portfolio oversight by monitoring concentration risks, identifying credits with early warning signals, and recommending timely risk‑mitigation actions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to conduct targeted portfolio reviews, providing insights to enhance risk management.
  • Undertake additional tasks and initiatives when required, including supporting improvement of credit processes, frameworks, and governance standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher.
  • Minimum 20 years of relevant banking experience, including exposure to Corporate Banking Coverage.
  • Deep understanding of credit and risk management principles, with strong analytical skills.
  • Meticulous and ability to work efficiently.
  • Ability to articulate, justify and defend credit decisions to internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated integrity and a team player.
  • We value candidates with broad industry knowledge and a strong understanding of trade-related risks and structures.
