Lead FX & Commodities sales for wealth segments by generating trade ideas, executing and managing trades, building franchise and stakeholder relationships, driving product and client-journey innovation, leveraging digital/data/AI initiatives, ensuring compliance, training staff, and performing MIS activities.
The candidate will join Wealth Management Solutions team (WMS) in Singapore and will be a part of the team that is responsible for driving FX & Commodities sales and product journey for DBS Wealth Segments (Private Bank, Treasures Private Client, Treasures).
Responsibilities
- Leverage strong FX & Commodities market and derivative product knowledge to generate and present trade ideas according to client needs, risk profile, market trends/themes.
- Ensure seamless execution, order management, and post trade management of trades (Spot, Forwards, OTC structures, Structured Notes etc.).
- Proactively take initiatives in Franchise Building by leveraging market and product knowledge to develop new products and client journey to scale FX & Commodities business to new highs.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across Wealth segment and GFM (Relationship Managers, Investment Counsellors, FX Advisors, Spot Traders, Option traders and Structuring team etc.).
- Keep abreast with market trends, regulations, and market intelligence to identify and capture opportunities in the FX & Commodities space.
- Strong Digital, Data and AI mindset to drive multiple Initiatives for the Desk.
- Ensure all compliance and internal guidelines are adhered to in all aspects of the job.
- Provide trainings to RMs, ARMs, Investment Counsellors, and mentor junior Sales staff.
- MIS Activities
Requirements
- At least 8 years FX & Commodities Derivatives sales experience, in Global Markets / Private Banking setup.
- Expert in FX / Commodities Products (Spot, Forward, Swaps, OTC Options, Structured Notes, Complex FX derivatives etc.) with good understanding of Macro drivers across different asset class.
- Additional cross-asset and experience with working on QIS products are a plus
- Innovative and keen to challenge status quo to drive changes.
- Strong interpersonal communication and Presentation skills as the role involves regular product pitches to internal stakeholders (Senior Management, Relationship Managers, Investment counsellors, FX Advisors) and clients.
