We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President to join our Transfer agency team. This role is located in Singapore.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • People manager, managing small to medium size team in our Singapore and Hong Kong office.  Be approachable and lead from front. Motivate individuals to perform better, provide guidance and mentoring.      Lead by example by living up to the key principles and pillars of BNY.
  • Expertise in Mandarin, oral and written.  Japanese speaking ability will be an added advantage
  • Responsible and accountable to deliver excellent service quality standards to Asian Investors by demonstrating continues improvement in service standards.  Maintaining all service levels agreements in Green on a continues basis.
  • Proven track record on independently driving strategic objectives enabling operational excellence, bringing in automation ideas and reduce risk exposure.  Proven track record of delivering solutions leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be an added advantage.
  • Drive continues and meaningful engagement with Clients backed by data driven approach. Active participation with clients in APAC on new onboarding, new fund launches.
  • Responsible for Escalation point of contact for APAC region.  Own the issue and drive solutions by engaging with internal stakeholders and find permanent solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills by engaging with internal/external stakeholders to delivery high quality outcomes.  Display ownership and problem solving skills.
  • Effectively manage the volume of work which meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards.      Demonstrates ability to Identify and implements process improvements 
  • Keen eye for details for Risk and compliance focused. Ability to value add by ensuring strict controls in place and proactively identify risk opportunities and resolve with effective controls 
  • Participate in engagement activities at SG branch and motivate the team to participate.
  • Ensuring timely reporting, escalations are carried out with respective stakeholders
     

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Leadership: Manage and motivate a small to medium-sized team in Singapore and Hong Kong offices; lead by example and provide consistent guidance.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Mandarin (oral and written); Japanese language skills are an asset.

  • Service Quality: Deliver excellent service standards to Asian investors; maintain service level agreements in Green.

  • Operational Excellence: Independently drive strategic objectives; introduce automation and reduce risk; AI experience is advantageous.

  • Client Engagement: Foster meaningful, data-driven engagement; participate in APAC client onboarding and fund launches.

  • Escalation Management: Main contact for APAC escalations; collaborate with stakeholders for permanent solutions.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Engage with stakeholders; show ownership and problem-solving abilities.

  • Workload Management: Meet and exceed quality standards; identify and implement process improvements.

  • Risk & Compliance: Ensure strict controls; proactively identify and resolve risks.

  • Team Engagement: Participate and motivate team in Singapore branch activities.

  • Reporting: Ensure timely reporting and escalation to relevant stakeholders.

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience is preferred with at least 1-3 years in management. Experience in brokerage processing is preferred. 
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business
