Autodesk’s Platform Services and Emerging Technologies Experience Design team is looking for a Senior Experience Designer to help us as we transform the Autodesk platform experience to deliver continuous, seamless value to our customers. With our large and varied customer base, there is no one-size-fits-all model. You’ll be working daily with a multi-disciplinary team engaged in the hard work of changing not just an application, but the way the whole company structures its interactions with customers. You will work on strategic initiatives to create cohesive and scalable customer experiences that can be leveraged across our 100+ products serving multiple industries where people design, create, and build the future.
Reporting to a Manager of Experience Design, the Senior Experience Designer will work on strategic initiatives which create cohesive and scalable customer value. The focus of this role will be on our Access experiences.

Responsibilities
Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other designers to define great experiences from initial concept through successful implementation
Visualize and prototype intended solutions at various levels of fidelity, from high-level wireframes or mock-ups to conceptual presentations to highly technical documents and diagrams
Collaborate closely with one or more local or remote Agile Scrum teams, working iteratively to deliver customer value
Use customer insights that come from analytics and customer interactions to help inform business and design decisions
Facilitate and participate in customer interaction and research in many forms, from interviews to usability testing, to validate designs and make iterative improvements
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of related professional user experience design experience
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with development teams and product managers to deliver usable and desired value to customers
Experience visualizing solutions with wireframes, visual designs, journey maps and prototypes
Demonstrated experience and interest in presenting design related information to a variety of internal and external audiences including software development and other stakeholders
Excellent visual and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex ideas, and large amounts of data and viewpoints, to their essence
Prior experience with Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD or similar
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS or Graduate degree in HCI, New Media Design, Computer Science, related fields, or equivalent experience
Desire to work autonomously, own projects from end to end, and collaborate with globally distributed agile teams in a fast-moving environment
Experienced with modern human-centered design best practices, customer interaction methods and highly skilled in facilitation and design thinking
Strong work ethic, high degree of empathy and passionate about great customer experiences
Experience mentoring other UX designers
