Job summary:
The Handler TSE provides high level technical support for FT-handling and high-power thermal solution support to ASP regional Field-Service Engineer and customers.
This role bridges GSEC, field service, R&D and global teams;
- Effectively support all the production escalation issues resolved with minimized production loss impact. Ensuring product (handler) Safety, quality and performance.
- NPI evaluation planning preparation and execution as planned.
- Provide accurate feedbacks on evaluation results, performance data or gaps to R&D.
- Suggest improvement ideas and collaborate with R&D to deliver robust, efficient, and scalable (Technologies Integration) of handling & thermal solutions.
- Responsible for technical knowledge and skills up program for field services teams and customers.
Job responsibilities
1. Escalation support excellent
- Provide effective technical consultation and onsite support for handling/ probing and thermal issues.
- Consolidate and monitor failure trend and proactively review data and discussion with GSEC and R&D for product (handler) improvement.
2. NPI evaluation support
- Evaluation preparation and execution as planned.
- Compiling data analysis and conclusion review with R&D.
- Suggest solution improvement ideas and collaborate with R&D to continue enhancing solution reliability and robustness (throughput, stability, thermal & etc) for production deployment.
3. Quality and Safety
- Handler product safety tracking follow up and management. RFI, FCO, ANZEN.
- Ensure product safety (handler/ prober and customer products) with proper operation training conducted for field service team and customers.
4. Knowledge Transfer
- Conduct technical/ knowledge transfer to field service engineers and customers to operate, maintain, troubleshoot the handler/ prober.
- Conduct workshops and optimization know-how to field service engineer and customers and “train the trainer” program.
- Bachelor’s or master-degree in Mechanical, Thermal, Mechatronics Engineering, or relevant field.
- Experiences in semiconductor package handling/ probing, thermal technologies and automation system.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Global mindset and industrial knowledge to support the regional teams and collaborate with global teams.
- Excellent communication for internal/ external customers support, technical sharing and R&D collaboration.
- Short notice business trip, extended working hours & weekend/ holiday support for critical project or escalation support demands.
