Job Description
Participate in design reviews, design verification and validation, monitor results and lead risk ensuring Product/Software meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required. Assure quality Products/Software and Processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards, testing, materials controls through trends analysis, risk identification, uses of tools and data. Passionate with Technical Hands-On activity (Hardware/Software/Manufacturing) and ensure product launch with best quality and processes in place in Manufacturing.
You will report to Quality Manager based in Singapore.
Your Responsibilities:- Create the end-to-end Product/Software quality strategy for the assigned products, NPI, continuation Engineering, customer anomaly management, and Continuous Improvement Projects to successful execution.·
- You will Manage Critical-To-Quality (CTQ's) parameters and contribute ideas for innovation and continuous improvement on an ongoing basis.
- Provide technical support in engineering design/code review, drawing and specification review to guide risk mitigation ensuring product meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required.
- You will apply quality design methodologies throughout product development.
- These methodologies include Quality and APQP tools and techniques, such as Design for Six Sigma, Design for Reliability, and Failure Mode Effect Analysis, among others.
- Influence and Implement lessons learned in other/new products, respectively new or running projects.
- Uses reliability engineering principles and tools to develop test setups for Reliability Laboratory testing to support projects requirement.
- Responsible to design, procure, plan and complete and report out reliability testing such as HALT or ORT test.
- Perform hands-on product electrical circuit and mechanical failure analysis and able to apply failure analysis procedures to identify the failure location and the causes.
- You will guide Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and ensure corrective and preventive action planning.
- You will Ensure quality and manufacturing process readiness before start of mass production to attain a flawless launch.
- You will Manage preventive quality assurance during development and industrialization setup.
- You will Support audits of products, Quality System Procedures, Operating and work instructions in compliance with ISO 9001 Quality system requirements.
- When standard procedures do not apply, use judgement and draw on past experiences to interpret information, solve routine problems and recommend approaches.
- Contribute ideas for innovation and continuous improvement on an ongoing basis focusing on activities that add values and increase efficiencies.
- You will recognize/anticipate barriers to completing assigned work/projects.
- B.S. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Knowledge of Software Development LifeCycle/Processes and Agile methodology (eg. Scrum, SAFe, Lean Startup) is prefer
- We prefer advanced statistical experience with quality tools usage and Product Design Development Cycle.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience working knowledge in a Quality and Design function in an Electronics/Software Development Environment.
- Experiences in auditing to the requirement of ISO 9001 quality system standards in an electronic- manufacturing company; IEC64223 and other related governing standards as applicable.
- Certified Design for Six Sigma/Reliability Engineer will have an added advantage.
- Experience in HW Product Design and Manufacturing Processes from Automotive, Electronics Industry.
- CMMI Certification or CSQE Certification from ASQ will have an added advantage.
- Must have a broad technical background with the ability to work with engineering, manufacturing, service, and suppliers across different issues and internationally.
- You have understanding on Electronic Manufacturing, Assembly and Test processes.
- Align own activities with the work group's goals and strategies.

- You will Lead Meetings related to task/deliverables.
- Know when to act and when to escalate decision-making process.
