About the Team
ResponsibilitiesThe Messaging & Notification team is responsible for building and maintaining the company’s messaging platform, covering in-house instant messaging (IM) systems, email, SMS, and push notifications. We support many business lines growth with reliable and scalable user reach capabilities.
- Design, develop, and optimize core components of the messaging platform, including IM, email, SMS, and push notification systems.
- Continuously improve the architecture and performance of the messaging infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and low latency, in-line with business growth.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments, ensuring system robustness and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, and SREs to deliver high-quality features and solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computing.
- At least 8 years of backend engineering experience.
- Solid foundation in Java programming, with in-depth understanding of JVM tuning, I/O, multithreading, concurrency frameworks, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Familiar with commonly used middleware such as MQ, RPC frameworks, caching, and databases; experience with production-level issue troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge of microservices and distributed system architecture and principles (e.g., service discovery, tracing, CAP theorem, consistency models).
- Clear logic, fast learner, strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working on high-throughput and low-latency systems is a strong plus.
