Senior Specialist, Operational Excellence

As an Operational Specialist you will be supporting in driving Operational Excellence strategy on site aligning with corporate approach. Support in driving OE capability on site by providing
efficient training and coaching to all employees. Embed Lean Six Sigma systems to sustain a culture of continuous improvement. Support in Hoshin Strategic planning and deployment. Lead and deploy the program management and problem-solving approach to improve process and performance

Key responsibilities:

• Actively participate in all OE programs at the Singapore Site.

• Lead and support continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.

• Drive OE capability-building through coaching and mentoring of Project Team Members, White Belts (WB), and Yellow Belts (YB).

• Facilitate and support cross-functional Kaizen events on site.

• Lead and co-lead yearly Hoshin/Strategy Day and weekly Hoshin reviews for the site.

• Participate in weekly Tier reviews and contribute to issue resolution.

• Ensure appropriate application of OE tools to achieve business-aligned benefits.

• Develop and deliver OE WB and YB training, with G8 leading WB and co-delivering YB.

• Utilize Plant Wide Control Systems (PWCS), PI, and TrackWise (TW) as required.

• Engage with customers as required to support OE initiatives.

• Manage stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with sustained benefits.

• Positively influence team dynamics and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.

Key requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Scientific or Engineering Discipline.

• Proven experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and OE programs.

• Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive business-critical projects.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

• Experience with Plant Wide Control Systems (PWCS), PI, and TrackWise (TW) is a plus.

• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
