- Lead complex settlement and clearance activities, including fails management, buy-ins, reconciliations and high-priority client, agent and broker queries.
- Act as an escalation point for operational issues, transaction disputes, risk items and time-sensitive market events, ensuring clear ownership and resolution.
- Provide operational expertise across custody networks, Euroclear, DTC, cross-border transfers, corporate actions and APAC market practices.
- Serve as a senior operational representative in APAC client meetings, service reviews, onboarding discussions, due diligence exercises and operational workshops.

- Lead discussions regarding settlement processes, market requirements, service enhancements, operating models and emerging client needs.
- Drive operational excellence by ensuring client issues are actively managed, root causes are identified and sustainable corrective actions are implemented.
- Improve the quality, accuracy, completeness and timeliness of operational communications delivered to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver operational presentations, service updates, metrics, risk assessments and proposed solutions to internal and external audiences.
- Lead process improvements that reduce operational risk, improve efficiency and advance the adoption of automation, AI and digital tools.
- Maintain strong controls, procedures, KRIs, KPIs and governance standards, while coaching colleagues and supporting resilient follow-the-sun coverage.

- Demonstrated experience managing sensitive client escalations and delivering service-recovery outcomes.
- Excellent verbal communication, presentation, relationship-management and consultative-engagement skills, with confidence representing Operations externally.
- Cantonese and/or Mandarin language capability would be advantageous.
- Proven ability to lead process improvement and operational change initiatives, including automation, AI and digital tools.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, stakeholder-management and organizational skills.
- Flexible team player willing to support Singapore public holidays, rotating APAC market coverage and regional growth initiatives.
