- Establish new recipes/processes for new program/parts, conduct supplier audits, develop and maintain manufacturing operation level job instruction sheets, and inspection procedures.
- Perform feasibility studies in the manufacturing capacity improvement, layout improvements and expansion.
- Initiate productivity improvement activities including equipment/fixture selection, design and deployment.
- Resolve technical issues relating to internal and external customers' feedback.
- Participate actively in company-wide productivity and quality programs.
- Provide guidance and training to other Special Process Engineers.
- Provide process, tooling and gaging plan for all special process.
- Work with vendors to support our outsource activities.
- Maintain and keep heat treat and plating masters up to date.
- Lead continuous improvement projects.
- Initiate and Lead Core Problem Solving (CPS) activities.
