Job Description:

The Opportunity 
Workhuman iQ is our AI-powered people analytics and cultural intelligence platform. It transforms millions of real recognition moments into actionable insights that help us understand skills, retention, engagement, and inclusivity across the business. With real time dashboards and an embedded AI Assistant, iQ gives leaders and teams instant visibility into cultural health, performance trends, and talent strengths without needing analysts or complex tools. 
 
You’ll be joining the WHIQ team, a cross-functional Squad of engineers bringing together expertise across Machine Learning, Backend, Frontend, and QA. The team owns and develops the user experience for the Workhuman iQ application as well as the people leader focused team analytics with customer facing experiences. They are responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining high quality features that bring Workhuman's vision to life for our customers. This includes close collaboration across engineering, product, and design to deliver intuitive, performant, and scalable solutions. As a Senior Engineer (FE), you’ll play a key role in shaping technical direction while also mentoring and supporting your teammates. 

 

Tech stack:  

React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, SQL, Redis, Terraform, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CodeArtifact, Git, AWS (ECS Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS, Neptune, CloudFront, ALB) 

 

** This is a hybrid role which requires at least 3 days a week onsite in our Dublin office**

The skills you bring:  

  • You have deep expertise in frontend development using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, with a strong focus on building performant, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces. 

  • You demonstrate strong problem-solving and debugging skills, taking ownership of complex issues and driving them to resolution. 

  • You’re able to lead technical discussions, influence architectural decisions, and mentor engineers to raise the overall technical bar. 

  •  You value clean, scalable code and advocate for best practices in testing, performance, and accessibility. 

  • (Good to have) You bring experience with data analytics UIs, data visualisation, or interactive dashboards. 

  • (Good to have) You have experience with AWS services (ECS Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS, Neptune, CloudFront) and DevOps tools (Terraform, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CodeArtifact) to build and maintain reliable delivery pipelines. 

  • (Good to have) You have experience using Git and best practices in version control, CI/CD, and collaborative software development.
