As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop high-performance fintech applications, mentor developers, and contribute to architecture decisions while optimizing existing apps and enhancing user experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced frontend engineer to join our engineering team at GoTo Financial. You will be responsible for designing and building high-performance fintech applications, focussing on building the best possible user experience. As a senior engineer, you will work on our flagship products across GoTo, including Gojek, GoPay, Tokopedia, and TikTokShop, ensuring our millions of users get the best experience.
What You Will Do
- Work with our product team to solve requirements related to customer journeys on mobile native, Flutter, and Web
- Lead projects to implement features across multiple apps
- Improve the customer experience for our existing apps by optimizing the usability, performance, and code quality
- Contribute to architecture decisions across teams and shape the technical direction
- Mentor and grow other developers to build a culture of learning and innovation
- Participate in production support and respond to alerts and escalations in customer support
What You Will Need
- 6-8 years of mobile app development in Android
- Knowledge of building apps in Android native and Flutter, and familiarity with Android/Flutter Dev Tools
- Experience architecting and maintaining a consumer-facing app, including release planning, monitoring, and testing practices
- Familiar with the entire SDLC, and Agile project management practices like Scrum
- Strong sense of good UI and UX best practices
- Knowledge of building web apps in React (preferred) or any other web framework
- Experience with backend development using Java/Kotlin/Nodejs/Go etc is a plus
- Experience with team or people management is a plus
