This is a high-impact, deeply cross-functional role on the Brand & Content team where you'll set the strategic direction for how we engage audiences, lead execution through both direct work and external partners, and bring data-driven insights to the table that help shape our social program.
This role is ideal for a senior individual contributor who operates with autonomy, leads through expertise and influence, and is energized by the challenge of building brand relationships at scale.
What You'll Do

  • Own and define the social media strategy across Bitly and QRCG by Bitly, driving decisions about channel prioritization, content approach, engagement tactics, and platform expansion based on performance data and market trends.
  • Lead social amplification and coordination for product launches and integrated marketing campaigns, aligning messaging, timing, and execution across Brand & Content, Product Marketing, and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-channel community engagement program, including Bitly's Reddit presence with accountability for evaluating and recommending investment in emerging platforms.
  • Translate social and community performance data into strategic insights and recommendations, delivering regular reporting to senior leadership and identifying opportunities to improve share of voice, sentiment, and audience engagement.
  • Manage budgets, agency relationships, and external contractors supporting social and community goals, ensuring quality, on-brand execution and clear accountability for results.
  • Define and evolve visual standards for social content across platforms, producing and adapting assets directly while establishing guidelines that ensure brand consistency, creative quality, and execution speed at scale.
  • Partner with the Brand & Content team to support executive thought leadership content and ghostwriting.
  • Serve as the team's internal expert on social platform trends, audience behavior, and AI-powered tools that improve efficiency and scale content production across channels

Who You Are

  • 6+ years of experience managing social media channels and community programs for a B2B or SaaS technology brand, with demonstrated ownership of strategy, execution, and performance reporting.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute multi-channel social strategies that drive measurable outcomes—including share of voice, audience growth, and engagement - across platforms such as LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and emerging channels.
  • Experience managing social media programs across multiple brands or products, maintaining distinct brand voices and audiences within a shared content infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement AI-driven workflows to improve content production, scheduling, performance analysis, or audience research.
  • Proficiency with social media management and analytics platforms (e.g., Sprout Social or equivalent) and comfort creating or adapting visual assets using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Track record of using data to build a compelling narrative—translating social performance metrics into strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
