The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

Solventum is recruiting for an amazing Senior SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Developer to support the deployment of SAP S4/Hana in Greater China region. Here, you will make an impact by:

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and understand business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents to develop custom solutions and enhancements
• Design, develop and deploy cloud-native applications using SAP BTP services, including Cloud Foundry and Kyma
• Develop and maintain APIs and microservices using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing using SAP BTP DevOps services etc
• Utilize SAP BTP destinations and connectivity services to integrate with on-premise and cloud systems
• Utilize SAP BTP services (Build Code, Build Process Automation) to build and deploy applications, promote and implement SAP Clean Core principles
• Design and implement integration scenarios using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management)
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of the developed solutions
• Document code, interfaces, and technical solutions for future reference and maintenance

The Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in SAP Development, with a focus on SAP BTP
• Strong understanding of SAP BTP Architecture and services, including: Cloud Foundry, SAP CAP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Event Mesh or Advanced Event Mesh, BTP Destinations and Connectivity, SAP PI/PO, Integration Suite
• Familiarity with SAP’s development tools and environments, such as ABAP Developer Tools, Business Application Studio / Build Code, and SAP GUI
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP Programs
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and cloud-based development
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of SAP architecture, data structures, and integration techniques
• Contribute to the design and architecture of SAP BTP solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Experience in SAP implementation and understanding of architectural frameworks
• Understanding of SAP Integration Suite design best practices, error handling mechanisms, and SAP PI/PO architecture
• Familiarity with EDI, APIs, SQL, and other integration technologies
