This role will focus on the development and execution of low-carbon fuel offerings, emissions reduction solutions, and customer-facing sustainability projects. The Executive will engage cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver regulatory-aligned, commercially viable decarbonization pathways that meet the evolving needs of marine fuel buyers and shipowners.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & Commercial Support

  • Support the creation of commercial offerings that align fuel availability, regulatory compliance, and emissions reduction targets
  • Collaborate with internal supply, sustainability, and trading teams to evaluate sourcing strategies, blending options, certification schemes (ISCC, RSB), and credit eligibility
  • Conduct comparative assessments of fuels based on carbon intensity, pricing, operational impact, and port availability to support customer decision-making
  • Prepare customized proposals and energy transition roadmaps tailored to each customer’s decarbonization goals and operational profile
  • Support business case development for infrastructure investment and value proposition projects at key ports

Project Execution & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as day-to-day support on customer-facing decarbonization initiatives
  • Track progress and coordinate execution across internal stakeholders (supply, ESG, legal, operations)
  • Monitor and report on regulatory developments and assist in compliance alignment for offerings
  • Maintain CRM data, manage internal trackers, and support bid and tender submissions

Regulatory & Sustainability Expertise

  • Provide up-to-date insight on maritime regulations (EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime, IMO CII and GFI) and translate implications for customers
  • Assist with emissions modeling, lifecycle carbon assessments, and sustainability documentation
  • Support the ESG and sustainability teams with data inputs and certification processes (ISCC, RSB, etc.)

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Maritime Studies, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in marine fuels, sustainability, or energy transition roles
  • Deep understanding of maritime decarbonization regulations and low-carbon fuel technologies
  • Strong analytical skills in emissions modeling and fuel assessments
  • Commercial acumen with experience in proposal development and customer engagement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with sustainability certification schemes (ISCC, RSB) and ESG frameworks
