About the Role:
We are seeking a high-impact Sales Director to lead our GiG (Gaming & iGaming) and Digital Native business across the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region. This is a priority vertical for Cloudflare with significant growth potential across high-opportunity markets including Malta, Cyprus, Turkey, South Africa, and Dubai (which is emerging as a licensing hub for iGaming companies by 2027).
This role will be instrumental in shaping and executing our go-to-market strategy for the vertical, driving deep customer engagement, and leading a team focused on acquiring and expanding high-value digital native accounts. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision, operational execution, and a deep understanding of the digital-native ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Gaming, iGaming & Digital Native sales team across MEA to drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Define and execute focused go-to-market plans for strategic digital-native accounts
  • Engage directly with senior executives at target customers to align Cloudflare's solutions to their transformation and innovation priorities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional partners to scale growth
  • Build a structured segmentation and account coverage strategy to prioritize high-potential opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Channel, Customer Success, and Sales Engineering teams to maximize customer outcomes
  • Drive internal alignment and forecasting accuracy through rigorous pipeline management and sales process execution
  • Attract, hire, and develop top talent to grow a high-performing, customer-centric sales organization
  • Represent Cloudflare at key industry events and within relevant regional associations

Desired Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience with a minimum of 5 years in a sales leadership role
  • Proven track record of building and scaling regional business units or verticals
  • Experience selling to or working within digital-native companies such as SaaS, Gaming/iGaming, eCommerce, or tech startups
  • Strong understanding of modern cloud and security solutions, including Zero Trust, SASE, AppSec, and performance optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders
  • Experience with complex deal cycles and multi-stakeholder buying processes
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented leadership style
  • Passion for enabling customer innovation and digital transformation
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and team leadership skills
  • Fluency in English; additional regional languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required
