- Educational Background:• A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.• Candidates with backgrounds in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering with relevant battery system research or testing experience will also be considered.
- Work Experience:• 0-5 years of experience in the battery, energy storage, or power electronics industry (candidates with strong AI/ML research background are also encouraged to apply).• Experience or research exposure in battery management systems (BMS), battery testing, system integration, or power management.• Practical or research experience in applying AI/ML methods to battery diagnostics, lifetime prediction, or optimization is strongly preferred.
- Technical Expertise:• Knowledge of battery operation, performance evaluation, and system-level testing (lithium-ion or other emerging chemistries).• Familiarity with power management, battery testing equipment, or control/system design.• Experience in AI/ML model development, data analysis, or algorithm design related to battery or energy systems is a plus.
- Soft Skills:• Good English presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to draft clear technical documentation and reports.
- Personal Attributes:• A proactive learner with a growth mindset, eager to explore and adopt new technologies and methodologies.• Capable of working independently and executing high-quality projects with minimal supervision.• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to define directions and deliver effective solutions.
- Other Skills:• Experience with AI/ML tools, battery performance modeling, or system simulation platforms is advantageous.• Familiarity with regulatory and safety standards for battery systems is a plus.• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and experience with test equipment or resource management is desirable.
