The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing projects and processes in support of TransUnion's Direct To Consumer business strategy and objectives.
What You'll Bring:
Manages multiple concurrent projects end‑to‑end, from initiation through delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, scope, and quality standards are met.
Defines project scope, priorities, deliverables, dependencies, and target dates in partnership with business and technical stakeholders.
Develops detailed project plans, schedules, and estimates, including effort, resource requirements, and completion timelines.
Coordinates and secures required resources, proactively resolving conflicts in a matrixed organization.
Oversees the full project lifecycle, including business and technical requirements, design, development, quality assurance, and deployment.
Defines and manages Agile epics, user stories, and sprints; tracks progress, follows up on actions, and drives measurable delivery outcomes.
Identifies, tracks, and mitigates project risks and issues to ensure successful execution.
Monitors project progress and deliverables through ongoing communication with project teams and stakeholders.
Utilizes and contributes to project management tools and frameworks, including Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and other planning, scheduling, and defect‑tracking tools.
Manages vendor onboarding, relationships, contracts, and performance.
Oversees CapEx and OpEx financial management, ensuring Direct‑to‑Consumer budgets and spend remain on track.
Works closely with directors and senior management to align project initiatives with strategic business objectives; supports project prioritization, estimation, and portfolio planning.
Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, IT, Operations, Finance, and external partners to ensure seamless information flow and coordinated execution across the project lifecycle.
Establishes clear communication across technical and non‑technical teams to align milestones, expectations, and delivery plans.
Performs other related duties as required.
Impact You'll Make:
A Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years project management experience, relevant functional experience, or a combination of education and experience
Working knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques, particularly agile methodologies. Scrum Master experience or SM certification
Proven communication and organization skills are required
Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization
Strong leadership, the ability to work and communicate with executive management, and the ability to manage multiple, independents cross-functional projects simultaneously or as one cohesive program
Excellent planning, communication, negotiating, and collaboration skills
Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong decision-making and problem solving skills
PMP, Agile and SAFe certification is a plus
