Oversee product life cycle for Rostering Systems, enhance software, optimize user experience, and ensure compliance with regulations while managing stakeholders.
Summary
We are searching for a self-driven individual with excellent data analytical and stakeholder management skills. You will anchor the Crew System division of the Rostering Department and handle matters relating to Rostering software, integrations, enhancements to existing systems, data visualisation and BCP during system outages. Your role will focus on system development/planning and fine tuning to drive efficiency & accuracy while reducing manual workload for the Rostering Team. You will report to Manager,Rostering and work closely with IT, flight operations, cabin services, IOCC, scheduling and network units to drive automation and efficiency through Crew Systems.Job Description
Responsibilities
- As the product owner, you’ll be responsible for the entire product life cycle, from designing customer journey, creating business requirements, user acceptance testing, change management to training and success management
- Identify new trends in roster optimization for improved user experience, customer journey and revenue opportunities
- Evaluate risks, benefits and opportunities to develop software product to holistically meet the objectives of the team and organization
- Continuously measuring OKRs to achieve the best outcome of the software product developed
- Develop robust and easy-to-use UI/UX with designers to improve user experience and increase engagement
- Review user and customer feedback through online surveys, feedback forms and comments regularly. Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify issues or pain points and address areas of improvement
- Research to remain current in software technologies with the technical team and implement new techniques that improve software performance and user experience
- Adept in Agile product management, translating research and design to deliver regular valuable increments with the Agile team.
- Ensure software product comply with regulatory requirements and organization policies
Requirements
- Min 5 years in the airlines as a Crew Planner, Crew Controller or Ops Controller
- A proven record and understanding of the ‘Day to Day’ business activities within the Crew Management, Operational Control and Commercial Departments of the airline
- Advance user of Airline Rostering/Crewing system
- Experience with configuration modules and backup system setup
- Very good understanding of available functionality of such system in the market
- Experienced users of AIMS Airline Software would be an advantage
