Job Responsibilities :

This Product Developer/Product manager role​ will play a critical role in shaping and delivering software for the game developer ecosystem. Bridge the gap between technical teams and business goals to build a suite of software to enhance game development tools. This is a high visibility role that involves communication with a variety of team members and executives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Own the vision, requirements, and delivery on a suite of software tools offered to game developers 

  • Lead a cross-functional software team with your decisions having a direct impact on the business. 

  • Create and manage product roadmaps for game developer tools in collaboration with business analysts, software engineers, UX designers, sales, and marketing.   

  • Drive strategy and execution from concept to in-market, accountable for meeting milestone commitments and business targets.   

  • Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical insights into business value. 

  • Oversee go-to-market strategy, working closely with marketing and sales to ensure successful product launches into our game developer ecosystem. 

  • Analyze product performance, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement. Maintain the product backlog, ensure work is defined and prioritized, approve completed work. 

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy. 

  • Define and prioritize features based on customer feedback, market trends, and business value. 

  • Work closely across teams to drive goals, priority changes, manage dependencies and coordinate deliverables through all phases of the product life cycle.  

  • Other duties as assigned.  

Pre-Requisites :

Qualifications 

 

  • 8+ years of software product management experience or equivalent role working with game developer software. 

  • Strong understanding of PC game developer tools, ecosystem, and market. 

  • Experience working on Gameplay QA, Unity and Unreal Engine 

  • Launched at least 2 well-known public IP or public-facing initiatives on known software products / platforms. 

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical, user-centered product features. 

  • Take ownership mentality with a drive to "get things done" and be invested in the outcome. 

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities. 

  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions based on both data analysis and business priorities. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage collaboration and communication with other teams, both internal and external, both technical and non-technical. 

  • Gamer and game industry experience preferred 

 

Education & Experience 

 
4-year degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience. 

 

Travel Requirements 

Role based in Singapore office and may require up to 1 travel trip per year.
