Job Description
Sales (Business Banking) is responsible for new business and revenue generation, supporting customers in finding products, solutions, and services that best meet their needs. Sets the direction and policies for sales activities, and manages the execution of these plans. The Business Banking area is responsible for providing banking loan services and auxiliary products (e.g., letters of credit) to institutions with mid-range annual revenues. Covers activities related to providing banking loan products and advice to institutions ranging from small to mid-sized businesses, to the largest corporations. Includes major market middle market corporate banking, business banking, and corporate and transaction banking.
You will be involved in the sales, marketing and onboarding of a wide spectrum of banking products and services to meet the financial and investment needs of small-medium-enterprises (SME). Products include commercial property loans, trade facilities, asset-based financing etc. You will also support the end-to-end process of new applications to ensure a smooth and timely customer experience.
Your specific responsibilities include:
- Acquire new borrowing accounts through cold-calling, referrals and targeted outreach
- Support the processing of new credit and product applications, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-through
- Establish and maintain long-term and profitable banking relationships with both existing and prospective clients
- Ensure proper advisory procedures and documentation while adhering to the Bank’s internal policies, business processes and regulatory requirements (i.e. FAA and other related statutory Acts)

- Competent in engaging and managing internal and external clients
- Preferably 1 year of credit and marketing experience covering local SME(s).
