Job Summary:

Working closely with Regional Senior Vice Presidents and translating objectives into strategies and marketing plans with Brand, Content and Channel Execution and Marketing Operations, the Senior Manager Marketing, will set the strategic marketing direction for their respective regions. The ideal candidate will be strategic, analytical, and experienced in managing a geographically dispersed marketing operation. They will oversee the development of regional marketing strategies tailored to the nuances of our key markets, while leveraging Global marketing segment strategies, campaigns and program tactics, to efficiently deliver programs on time and on budget. This role is also responsible for assessing the success and impact of campaigns in these markets using data analysis, trend and segmentation analysis to assess projected ROI. This role requires cross-functional collaboration both within and outside the organization in order to effectively leverage internal expertise as well as external vendors to effectively deploy digital and offline marketing media (e-mail, social media, search, direct mail, web, display, collateral, etc.) as well as media relations to implement new and innovative regional marketing strategies.

Your responsibilities:

Segment Strategy & Planning

  • Responsible for the creation of the annual strategic marketing plan for the region that aligns with and supports acquisition/retention/growth plans and YOY growth targets
  • Supporting and influencing global Commercial Unit marketing strategies in support of Regional business plans
  • Establish ROI metrics and benchmarks for each marketing program/initiative to deliver plan growth across regions

Program Development, Management & Execution

  • Evolve and articulate the CSA Group’s value proposition within each regional market, tailored to each GBU, through research, journey-mapping, and customer insights
  • Devise strategies to leverage and grow customer relationships, to increase appeal to a wider prospect group and substantially grow the existing base
  • Determine high-value target growth segments and align content, communication and target messaging to deepen customer relationships and enhance opportunities for cross-selling
  • Manage the team, leveraging global resources, in the end-to-end program design and delivery of all activities, including email, web, digital, CRM-Lifecycle, Inside Sales Channel, Cross-Upsell, Reward and Recognition and portfolio growth initiatives
  • Work with necessary data to assess the success of campaigns and initiatives
  • Working closely with the Marketing Centers of Expertise (GMO and Communications) teams to ensure the experience, support processes and systems throughout the acquisition journey are optimized and ensure success

Performance Reporting & Analysis

  • Reporting of upcoming campaigns and initiatives across regions, including how Global marketing campaigns are delivered
  • Uncover insights, improvements and recommendations based on plan measurement
  • Ongoing reporting/monitoring/testing of automated programs, ensuring optimal performance

Budget Management

  • Manage annual regional marketing budgets to ensure they are on track
  • Establish budget forecasts aligning with plan activity
  • Reconcile forecasted spend vs. actual each month
  • Process/approve invoices and Purchase Orders
  • Monthly reconciliation of team budget expense vs. SAP actuals to ensure alignment
  • Develop business cases for additional budget allocations for ad-hoc and/or new campaigns that are not a part of the annual strategy
  • Manage monthly accruals and reporting of budget variances to Finance

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage regional vendor relationships, including advertising & media agencies to ensure initiatives are executed on time and within budget

Your qualifications:

  • College/university degree in business administration, marketing, communications or equivalent experience in a sales/marketing and/or communications department.
  • 10 to 15+ years Industry and/or B2B experience in service marketing, category management, brand management or sales is considered an asset.
  • 10+ years of demonstrable success in similar roles, with progressive advancements in role and responsibility
  • Effective communication with strong written and verbal skills in English
  • Passion for marketing, brand building and ability to articulate a compelling narrative
  • Experience working with data to ensure campaign performance management and analysis
  • Analytic skills – ability to report results, insights and recommendations
  • Experience in establishing marketing strategy; matching resources/investment to achieve measurable results
  • 5+ years of managing a team of marketers with demonstrated ability in effectively coaching and leading a team to execute programs, obtaining the necessary technical training and career planning
  • 5+ years in working with, supporting and influencing senior executives
  • Effective in managing multiple projects/priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/implement and influence change
