Senior Marketing Manager, APAC


OVERVIEW:

The Marketing team is responsible for the acquisition and retention of customers through all marketing channels. We work in close collaboration with Product Development, Communications, and the Sales Departments to drive the growth and reputation of Sportradar products, services, and brands to the industry, clients, and partners. The team is responsible for a unified appearance of the Sportradar brand to both internal and external stakeholders throughout all campaigns produced and marketing channels used.


THE ROLE:

We’re seeking a Senior Marketing Manager, Asia & Pacific, to lead the APAC product marketing and strategy. You’ll report to the Vice President of Product Marketing and work cross-functionally with other members of the senior APAC management team and in close partnership with our Communications team. This senior marketing role will be responsible for defining and overseeing the delivery of marketing activities that ensure Sportradar’s products and services are best positioned in an increasingly competitive marketplace. You’ll establish best practices and consistency in approach to ensure our marketing channels are differentiated yet speak with one cohesive voice. The ideal candidate is obsessed with the connection between marketing, product, and business growth, and thrives in an ambiguous, fast-moving organization while showing strong organizational skills, a can-do mentality, and confidence to deliver.


THE CHALLENGE:

  • Develop and oversee the execution of an aligned APAC Marketing strategy, with a clear roadmap of activities that will grow the Sportradar business and brand across multiple channels and target markets (customer type, industry events, marketing campaigns), ensuring the APAC marketing efforts align with APAC business objectives.
  • Build a deep understanding of the market landscape in APAC, including the competitive and regulatory environment.
  • Build relationships with P&L/unit leaders and the Communications team to define and develop a distinctive and engaging APAC positioning and identity that builds affinity with the Sportradar brand and encourages existing and potential third parties (customers, partners, future employees, etc.) to interact with Sportradar.
  • Build relationships and define ways of working with our Sportradar Partnerships team to leverage our in-region partnerships to create partnership marketing initiatives.
  • Deliver against shared KPIs; crisply articulate the APAC senior management team’s vision into marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to define measurable models for customer journeys and measurement.
  • Elevate our APAC event strategy, working in partnership with the marketing events team, Communications, and wider business stakeholders.
  • Determine best practices and implement them consistently across APAC.
  • Accountable for building, deploying, and measuring tactical marketing communications that drive customer action and revenue growth.


YOUR PROFILE:

  • Successful track record in B2B marketing and/or B2C technology or sports marketing.
  • Proven experience partnering with product and sales teams to deliver growth against shared KPIs.
  • Proficiency in an additional Asian language, including the ability to read and write, is advantageous.
  • Background in the Betting/igaming industry is considered a plus.
  • Strong relationship management skill set, with no fear of failure.
  • Marketing management experience with a passion for brand development and content-driven marketing activities.
  • Experience in elevating brand perception and awareness using both strategic and creative marketing approaches.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaborative skills working within peer groups, external business partners, and cross-functional teams to influence positive outcomes.
  • Creative yet strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, resource key projects, translate marketing strategies into measurable actions, and implement results.
  • Thinks about the strategic marketing landscape holistically and understands how to leverage content across marketing channels and our owned Sportradar channels.
  • Strong appetite to learn and research new industries, innovations, and developments.
  • Crisp writer and editor, grammar-obsessed with strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities and able to work to tight deadlines while driving the team toward long-term objectives.
  • Willing and able to travel as necessary, particularly across the APAC and to EMEA when required.
  • A passion for sports of all kinds.
