Cboe's Data Vantage business is seeking a highly motivated Senior Sales Executive to drive revenue growth, through the sale of market data to institutional clients, broker-dealers, hedge funds, retail brokers, market data vendors, fintech firms and other financial institutions. The Sales Executive will play a critical role in expanding Cboe's market presence in the APAC region and enhancing client relationships within the rapidly evolving financial markets landscape.
Responsibilities
Generate revenue through the sale of Cboe Market Data products across assigned regions
Identify prospects and source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and various outbound prospecting initiatives
Meet and exceed sales goals (targets) and assist regional sales team with identifying and closing new sales opportunities.
Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales and move a large number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline
Provide regular updates on sales pipeline, forecasts, and key performance metrics to Sales Manager using Salesforce.
Drive new business growth through the identification and development of strategic partnerships
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Marketing, and Client Engagement teams, to generate lead based on client requirements and differentiate Cboe's offerings in the marketplace.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to anticipate market opportunities and potential challenges
Represent Cboe at industry conferences, trade shows, and client events to enhance brand awareness and foster new business opportunities.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Requirements
Quantifiable track record of success in B2B consultative solutions sales, with a focus on financial markets (Specifically market data and/or trading technology)
Track record of over-achieving sales quota.
Established contact base within target market data and financial trading community
Strong understanding of financial markets (equities, options, indices, market data), trading workflows, and regulatory requirements.
Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM
Strong multi-tasking and customer service skills
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
Previous experience working within a data/software vendor, exchange, or trading firm preferred
Minimum Years of Relevant Work Experience: 8 years
Bachelor’s degree required
