The RoleThe Senior Manager, Sales Strategy and Planning, APAC, is a critical leadership role that acts as the strategic business partner to the APAC Sales leadership team. You will be responsible for leading a sales strategy and planning team supporting the business, driving revenue growth and sales productivity through insightful data analysis, forward-looking strategic planning, and operational excellence.
You will lead the analytical cadence of the business, uncover market opportunities, and provide the data-driven insights that shape our go-to-market strategy. This high-visibility role requires a blend of deep analytical expertise, strong business acumen, people leadership, and partnership with cross-functional partners to drive the success of the business.
What You'll Be DoingStrategic Planning & Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy
- Lead the annual and long-term strategic planning process for the APAC Sales organization, aligning with global company objectives
- Conduct comprehensive market, customer, and competitive analysis to identify new growth opportunities, unlock new territories, and mitigate risks
- Partner with sales leadership to design and implement GTM strategy, including territory design, quota setting, and sales coverage models
- Develop data-driven business cases and strategic proposals for senior leadership
Sales Analytics & Insights
- Own the forecasting process for the APAC region, collecting and analyzing inputs to ensure accuracy and predictability
- Drive the analytical cadence of the business, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), organizational deep dives, and sales performance reporting
- Translate complex data from disparate sources into clear, concise, and actionable insights, presenting findings to executive audiences
- Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance, productivity, and the effectiveness of sales initiatives
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales strategy and planning team
- Foster a culture of intellectual honesty, collaboration, and high performance, aligning with our core values

- Manage team resources, projects, and priorities to ensure alignment with key business objectives
Operational Excellence & Process
- Identify and implement improvements to sales processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage the end-to-end sales planning cycle, from target setting to final territory and quota deployment
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the key liaison between APAC Sales and global teams (e.g., Finance, Marketing, etc), ensuring regional nuances are understood and incorporated into global programs
- Lead and support regional change management processes, ensuring new initiatives are successfully rolled out and adopted
- Experience: 7-10+ years of experience in Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, Business Analytics, Consulting, or a related field, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth B2B enterprise software (SaaS) environment
- Leadership Experience: 5+ years of direct people management experience, with a proven ability to hire, develop, and retain top analytical talent
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor and influence executive stakeholders (e.g., VP/SVP+ level) through clear, data-driven recommendations. Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
- Analytical Prowess: Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills. You must be an expert storyteller with data
- Business Acumen: Strong strategic thinker with a high degree of business acumen and a proactive, self-starter mentality
- Regional Expertise: Deep understanding of the diverse markets and business environments within the APAC region
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance) or equivalent practical experience
