About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics to build and scale the function at Hungryroot. In this role, you’ll support both acquisition and retention with forecasting, spend allocation optimization, campaign performance, LTV predictions, multi-channel attribution, data-driven customer insights, and more. You’ll also play a critical role in analyzing and optimizing our physical product assortment.  

The ideal candidate has extensive experience running marketing analytics at a growing company, loves data, forecasting, testing, and driving constant optimizations, and a no job too big, or too small attitude. This player-coach will both develop a holistic framework for a data-backed understanding of end-to-end marketing efforts and make suggestions to optimize the marketing work we do.
Important: This is a hands-on role! This individual is expected to be a technical individual contributor that understands and writes complex SQL queries.

Responsibilities

  • Represent marketing analytics in cross-functional projects and planning discussions including the marketing inputs to financial planning
  • Serve as a primary source of analytic oversight within marketing, identifying opportunities, inconsistencies, and dependencies within the data 
  • Work with stakeholders to improve all aspects of analytics within Hungryroot from data storage to sharing insights with the broader team
  • Serve as a thought partner and analytic/strategic support for channel owners within the digital team (CRM, TV, Paid Social) and marketing/creative teams 
  • Maintain a holistic view of overall growth to support the leadership team; Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and Enterprise leaders to forecast business KPIs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required. A focus on data science, statistics or another mathematical or scientific field preferred
  • 5+ years of full-funnel analytics experience (experience within a growing eCommerce company and/or subscription DTC experience is a plus!)
  • Passion for data with strong technical aptitude; proficiency writing complex SQL queries to pull data and build dashboards a must
  • Highly analytical and strategic with proven ability to utilize data-driven insights to improve KPIs across acquisition and retention
  • Advanced Excel skills, including budget modeling
  • Ability to thrive in a role where juggling multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment is the norm
  • A detail-oriented storyteller with a knack for breaking down complex ideas and communicating clear recommendations at all levels

Expected Pay Range:
$144,000 - $180,000
