PURPOSE

  • To support the refreshed Digital Strategy focusing on GenAI, AI and Modern Data Platform, a senior data product manager is strongly needed to lead the development and launch of new data/AI products typically for Data 360 service and Central Leads Management that meet the needs and expectations of the customers and the business.
  • Work closely with the engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and requirements.
  • Manage shared service team (CTC, TIM, VTC) to deliver the data products timely with excellent quality.
  • Conduct market research, user feedback, and data analysis to validate and prioritize the product decisions and measure the product performance.
  • Drive group wide adoption for leads management tool and data 360 to deliver significant business value.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

  • Work with key stakeholders and business sponsors to address business initiatives according to priority and work out the product vision, strategy and roadmap.
  • Collect business requirements, create and manage the product backlog and prioritize the features based on the business value and customer feedback.
  • Manage the end-to-end project cycle, including developing business cases/charters, project plans, timelines, resource mobilization, cost and benefit analysis, risk mitigation, execution monitoring, and progress reporting/communication.
  • Manage share service team (CTC, TIM, VTC) to deliver data products such as Data 360 and Central Leads Management system on schedule with high quality.
  • Provide advice, counsel or facilitating services in business requirement analysis, solution design, drive adoption and monetisation, managing budget, project management and presentation to local management teams such as local CTO, group distribution function leader, group digital function leader.
  • Coordinate and lead the product launch and go-to-market activities with the marketing and sales teams.
  • Analyze and report the product performance, user behaviour, and feedback using various tools and metrics.
  • Continuously test, iterate, and improve the product based on the user feedback and data insights.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience as a product manager, product owner, or similar role in the financial industry. Insurance domain knowledge will be a plus.
  • Strong experience for common data model design and data as service
  • Good experience using business intelligence tools and grasp of data visualization best practices.
  • Hands on CRM or Lead Management Solution will be an advantage.

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of the product development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Good understanding of AI/GenAI technologies and keen to leverage them in changing the way people feel about insurance.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to understand business pain points and design solutions to help the business resolve the issues.

  • Ability to conduct market research, user research, and data analysis using various tools and methods.
