Job Summary
As the Senior Manager, Global Supply Planning, you are accountable for orchestrating the effective supply of products across your assigned portfolio, ensuring customer demand is met while optimising inventory, cost to serve, and supply chain performance.
This role is critical in enabling efficient end‑to‑end product flow across the supply chain. You will lead and develop a team of Supply Planners, fostering strong capability, accountability, and continuous improvement. Your leadership, collaboration, and strategic thinking will directly impact service level performance, financial outcomes, and supply resilience.

Team Leadership & Capability Development
Lead, inspire, and develop a team of Supply Planners across multiple geographies, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Build team capability and engagement through coaching, stretch opportunities, and performance development.
Enable the team to think strategically and operate as strong business partners, not just planners.
End‑to‑End Supply Planning & Collaboration
Lead product supply planning for assigned portfolios to deliver demand supportability exceeding regional service level expectations.
Collaborate closely with Regional Supply Planners and cross‑functional stakeholders to assess risks, evaluate trade‑offs, and agree on mitigation pathways.
Establish and communicate feasible production schedules that meet customer delivery requirements and business priorities.
Supply Velocity, Performance & Financial Outcomes
Drive supply velocity through clear strategy, automation opportunities, and optimisation of planning processes and resources.
Review and oversee mid‑long term supply plans (0–24 months), including production resource planning, capacity modelling, and supply risk management.
Establish and maintain prioritisation frameworks for finished goods allocation and freight mode decisions to optimise cost to serve.
Deliver inventory, service, and freight expenditure targets through disciplined planning and execution.
Ensure supply risks are proactively identified, monitored, and mitigated in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Systems, Data & Planning Excellence
Define and ensure optimal use of advanced planning systems and end‑to‑end supply chain tools.
Ensure accuracy and governance of planning parameters, including lead times, safety stock, lot sizes, and master data.
Leverage data insights to drive decision‑making and continuous improvement across the planning process.
Site & Stakeholder Engagement
Represent Product Supply Planning at manufacturing site leadership forums, including monthly site meetings.
Partner with site leaders to review site loading, resourcing, and optimisation opportunities.
Establish strong strategic intent partnerships with stakeholders to enable timely decisions and supply improvement opportunities.
Change & Market Complexity Navigation
Lead through organisational change by embedding new operating models and ensuring effective team adoption.
Navigate complex and evolving market conditions (e.g., geopolitical, economic, and regional disruptions) with agility and sound judgment.
Balance direction, empowerment, and support to meet the needs of markets at varying levels of maturity and scale.
Product Lifecycle Planning
Ensure New Product Introduction (NPI) and obsolescence impacts are fully understood and planned for.
Partner closely with the Product Lifecycle Planning Lead to integrate lifecycle activities into supply plans.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS CPIM) preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in supply chain planning, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong experience with advanced planning and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, o9, Kinaxis) and advanced Excel capabilities.
Demonstrated end‑to‑end thinking with a strong commercial and operational mindset.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams to deliver business outcomes.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.
High level of accountability with a track record of delivery excellence.
