This role is critical in enabling efficient endtoend product flow across the supply chain. You will lead and develop a team of Supply Planners, fostering strong capability, accountability, and continuous improvement. Your leadership, collaboration, and strategic thinking will directly impact service level performance, financial outcomes, and supply resilience.

Let's Talk About Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a team of Supply Planners across multiple geographies, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Build team capability and engagement through coaching, stretch opportunities, and performance development.

  • Enable the team to think strategically and operate as strong business partners, not just planners.

EndtoEnd Supply Planning & Collaboration

  • Lead product supply planning for assigned portfolios to deliver demand supportability exceeding regional service level expectations.

  • Collaborate closely with Regional Supply Planners and crossfunctional stakeholders to assess risks, evaluate tradeoffs, and agree on mitigation pathways.

  • Establish and communicate feasible production schedules that meet customer delivery requirements and business priorities.

Supply Velocity, Performance & Financial Outcomes

  • Drive supply velocity through clear strategy, automation opportunities, and optimisation of planning processes and resources.

  • Review and oversee midlong term supply plans (0–24 months), including production resource planning, capacity modelling, and supply risk management.

  • Establish and maintain prioritisation frameworks for finished goods allocation and freight mode decisions to optimise cost to serve.

  • Deliver inventory, service, and freight expenditure targets through disciplined planning and execution.

  • Ensure supply risks are proactively identified, monitored, and mitigated in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Systems, Data & Planning Excellence

  • Define and ensure optimal use of advanced planning systems and endtoend supply chain tools.

  • Ensure accuracy and governance of planning parameters, including lead times, safety stock, lot sizes, and master data.

  • Leverage data insights to drive decisionmaking and continuous improvement across the planning process.

Site & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Represent Product Supply Planning at manufacturing site leadership forums, including monthly site meetings.

  • Partner with site leaders to review site loading, resourcing, and optimisation opportunities.

  • Establish strong strategic intent partnerships with stakeholders to enable timely decisions and supply improvement opportunities.

Change & Market Complexity Navigation

  • Lead through organisational change by embedding new operating models and ensuring effective team adoption.

  • Navigate complex and evolving market conditions (e.g., geopolitical, economic, and regional disruptions) with agility and sound judgment.

  • Balance direction, empowerment, and support to meet the needs of markets at varying levels of maturity and scale.

Product Lifecycle Planning

  • Ensure New Product Introduction (NPI) and obsolescence impacts are fully understood and planned for.

  • Partner closely with the Product Lifecycle Planning Lead to integrate lifecycle activities into supply plans.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS CPIM) preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in supply chain planning, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment.

  • Strong experience with advanced planning and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, o9, Kinaxis) and advanced Excel capabilities.

  • Demonstrated endtoend thinking with a strong commercial and operational mindset.

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams to deliver business outcomes.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.

  • High level of accountability with a track record of delivery excellence.

Critical Capabilities & Behaviours

  • Strategic Thinking: Anticipates future demand, identifies risks, and develops proactive supply strategies.

  • Problem Solving: Resolves complex supply challenges with pragmatic, datadriven solutions.

  • Analytical Capability: Translates complex data into clear insights and actions.

  • Customer Focus: Ensures ontime, infull delivery while balancing service, cost, and inventory.

  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Actively drives efficiency, automation, and process optimisation.

  • Communication & Influence: Communicates effectively across all organisational levels.

  • Adaptability: Responds effectively to changing market and supply chain dynamics.

  • DecisionMaking: Exercises sound judgment, evaluates tradeoffs, and makes timely, aligned decisions.
