JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly motivated, independent and detail-oriented finance professionals to join our fund controller team. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, management reporting, compliance, and operational excellence across our managed infrastructure funds. Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for timely periodic financial reporting for the funds under management, providing detailed analysis of data to support decision making.  In addition, you will be responsible for compliance with audit, statutory and tax requirements, monitoring of financing covenants.  

 

You will provide leadership and guidance to the Finance reporting team on various financial reporting and operational matters, and interact with all levels including investment and asset management team, investors, overseas working partners and service providers.

 

You will assist to develop and maintain appropriate policies, procedures and processes for finance and other operational areas to ensure appropriate internal controls are in place to safeguard the Funds’ assets, optimize use of cash, ensure accuracy and validity of financial information required for management’s decision making. 

 

You will assist in tax planning, following up and reviewing financing documents and closing documents of investment deals.  You will work with Finance team on timing of cash flow requirements for each investment and the accounting of new investments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Accountancy with minimum 10-12 years’ relevant working experience, of which at least 4 years should be gained in overseeing group consolidation or in a fund controller role.  Some prior experience in audit would be an advantage.
  • Have good understanding of the relevant Accounting Standards and proficient in financial analysis.
  • Hands-on self-starter and a team player with good interpersonal skills and able to interact and work across functions and levels.
  • Experience in fund reporting or private equity, infrastructure, real estate investment industry will be an added advantage.
