Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting processes.
- Monitor portfolio financial performance and analyse key drivers impacting distributable income and DPU.
- Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast and market expectations.
- Provide actionable recommendations to enhance financial performance
DPU and Management Reporting
- Modelling and forecasting, analyse parameters that affects distributable income and DPU
- Develop scenario analyses to support management decision-making
- Prepare financial and analytical papers for Audit & Risk Committee and Board meetings
- Coordinate and draft responses to Board, ARC and external stakeholder queries.
Analyst and Market Intelligence
- Review analyst reports, consensus estimates and market expectations
- Identify key variances between management forecasts and analyst assumptions and provide insights to management to support investor engagement and earnings communications
- Track industry, peer and REIT market developments relevant to the business.
Financial Stewardship over a portfolio of entities
- End-to-end stewardship includes financial reporting, statutory audit, tax compliance, cashflow oversight, corporate secretarial and corporate governance matters
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders
Strategic Finance and Transaction Support
- Support financial evaluation of acquisitions, divestments, asset enhancement initiatives and other strategic projects
- Perform financial modelling and scenario analyses
Corporate Governance and Policies
- Lead periodic review and maintenance of finance-related policies, procedures and internal controls
- Monitor compliance with finance policies and governance frameworks
Team Leadership
- Assist the CFO in fostering a collaborative and aligned Finance organization through enhancing trust and communication
- Provide guidance and mentoring to finance team members
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, analytics capabilities and financial systems
Any other initiatives as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent
- About 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years at managerial level, with prior audit background and/or experience in REIT industry preferred
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced work environment
- Analytical, resourceful, good problem-solving capability (including the adoption of AI-assisted tools) and commercial mind set
- Strong FP&A and financial modelling expertise
- Experience with SAP/BPC and Hyperion preferred
