Senior Manager, Data Analytics and Data Science

We are seeking a passionate and strong leader in Data Analytics and Data Science to lead the strategy, development, and implementation of data-driven solutions across the organization. This role will oversee and manage the end-to-end process, from data collection, analysis, solution deployment and business integration.

What you will do:

• Data Strategy & Vision: Understand key company priorities and translate them into an actionable Data strategy to drive data maturity across the organization, enabling business growth, improve risk management, and enhanced customer experiences. 
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the Data Analytics and Data Science domain leads and their respective reportees to develop a high performance data team
• Influence Stakeholders: Partner with cross-functional teams such as Data Engineering, Product, Marketing, Sales, Risk, and Finance to drive data-driven initiatives, align on objectives, and ensure effective execution. 
• Data to Drive Business Impact:  Initiate new opportunities and continue existing projects where data can deliver analytics recommendations to drive key business metrics, and develop processes and frameworks to enable this.  

What we are looking at:

• At least 7+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in  Financial Services, Fintech, and/or Tech companies and domain exposure to SME credit risk is preferred.
• Proven experience leading and managing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth company or fintech environment. Experience being a manager of managers is preferred.
• Proficient in SQL, Python or R and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik). Experience selecting and implementing tools for analytics and data science is preferred.
• Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills  in a structured fashion
• Strong prioritization abilities according to business needs and constraints.
