As an Associate Art Director, you will guide a team's creative output, prioritizing Mission, Direction, and Cohesion across an entire initiative.

Responsibilities:
  • Be the creative leader for the Singapore game team, Uphold the artistic vision, craft standards, and success criteria that drive clarity, readability, and emotional impact set by the NA leadership team.
  • Oversee art direction for the Singapore game team, from concept through final in-game assets, ensuring the work expresses clear thematic vision, craft excellence, and strong player resonance.
  • Partner closely with Riot NA Creative and Product leadership to interpret and implement the creative and artistic vision, ensuring alignment with global quality standards, and thematic intent. Partner with production to ensure pipelines support sustainable quality.
  • Collaborate across Riot NA and Singapore to maintain alignment, manage feedback, and resolve challenges across all stages of production.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with Riot NA Creative, Art, and Product partners through transparency, reliability, and consistent delivery.
  • Remove creative and operational blockers to enable sustainable delivery, and partner closely with Riot NA and Singapore leadership to align on art direction, share best practices, and ensure visual consistency across regions.
  • Mentor and grow craft leads, fostering both creative excellence, craft proficiency and leadership confidence. Inspire teams to push boundaries while maintaining the project’s distinctive visual identity.
  • Foster a healthy, inclusive, and creatively charged team culture that encourages experimentation, feedback, and continuous improvement - aligned with Riot’s values and player focus.
  • Success in this role comes from translating Riot NA’s creative and product vision into inspiring, high-quality creative content. You’ll align cross-regional teams, synthesize feedback, and guide Singapore’s artists to deliver work that embodies the project’s clarity, craft excellence, and fantasy - bringing joy to players around the world.
Required Qualifications:
  • Deep experience with the game art production pipeline, across multiple art disciplines.
  • Proven success in art direction and people management.
  • Strong background collaborating with external vendors and co-development partners.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, prioritization, and navigating ambiguity.
  • Fluent in English, able to clearly communicate creative direction and goals.
  • Experience developing a style and artistic vision, shepherding the vision through production and shipping, and directing an organization to execute on the style
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience planning and maintaining production schedules in partnership with producers or development managers.
  • Broad experience shipping stylized AAA content.
  • Familiarity with outsourcing workflows and end-to-end pipelines.
  • Engine experience (Unreal, Unity, or proprietary).
  • Multilingual skills (Mandarin or other regional languages).
