Job Description:
Key Responsibilities1. Planning, Reporting and Analysis
- Lead the team to ensure agency reporting is effective in providing managing and stakeholders valuable information and insights
- Plan and oversee agency information reporting system so as to analyze and monitor the channel performance, production and headcount growth.
- Define and design critical reports to support management decision making and strategic planning
- Conduct comprehensive business analysis and modelling to support strategic initiatives
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
2. Projects and Initiatives
- Work closely with key stakeholders including members/staff from Agency, ARD, Life & Health, Finance, and other departments to achieve business objectives and deliver priority initiatives
- Lead and manage a team to lead strategic projects from inception to completion
3. Data Analytics
- Work closely with agency distribution to design and develop sales performance management model to maximize agency productivity and sales activity
- Leverage analytics to identify opportunities, engage our target clients, drive leads to agents to deepen client relationship, measure progress and impact, and help drive profitable growth of Agency
- Work closely with L&H and Regional Office stakeholders in development of any new management information systems reporting
4. Report Automation
- Lead efforts in report automation, working closely with IT and finance departments
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business or Data Analysis, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a senior management role within the insurance industry.
- Strong background in business analytics, data science, statistics, or related field.
- Experience in agency distribution of life insurance company is preferable
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros and modelling
- Strong knowledge of reporting and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Knowledge in SQL and scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python) is a plus
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
