Shape resilient logistics across Singapore and Malaysia

As Senior Logistics Relationship Manager, you will own the performance and strategic development of third-party logistics providers across Resmed’s Singapore and Malaysia supply chain network. Based in Singapore, you will help ensure safe, compliant, reliable, and cost-effective logistics services for manufacturing operations, global distribution centers, and customers across APAC.

This is a high-impact opportunity to strengthen supplier partnerships, protect business continuity, improve operational performance, and create long-term value across warehousing, transportation, cross-border logistics, port haulage, cross-docking, and in-factory labour services. The role includes approximately 20–30% travel, primarily to Johor, Malaysia, with additional travel during supplier transitions, audits, operational escalations, and transformation initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Own strategic relationships with logistics providers supporting the Singapore and Malaysia supply chain network.
  • Lead monthly performance reviews, quarterly business reviews, annual strategic reviews, and executive supplier governance forums.
  • Manage supplier performance across safety, quality, service, inventory integrity, capacity, cost, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure material availability for manufacturing operations and reliable replenishment to global distribution centers and APAC customers.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for service failures, inventory issues, transportation disruptions, capacity constraints, and business continuity risks.
  • Own supplier KPIs, scorecards, warehouse and domestic transportation budgets, and logistics invoice approvals.
  • Partner with Procurement on sourcing, contract renewals, commercial negotiations, supplier strategy, and performance recovery.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain quality, regulatory, safety, and inventory management requirements.
  • Lead corrective action plans, contingency planning, risk mitigation, and supplier performance improvement programmes.
  • Develop business cases for supplier transitions, network changes, warehouse expansions, automation, and capability improvements.

What You Bring

  • At least 10 years in logistics, supply chain, contract logistics, warehousing, transportation, or related operations.
  • A proven record of managing strategic 3PL relationships and outsourced logistics operations.
  • Deep understanding of third-party logistics business and operating models; ideally gained from experience within the industry.
  • Deep knowledge of warehousing, transportation, inventory management, factory replenishment, and supply chain operations.
  • Demonstrated success leading supplier governance, executive business reviews, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Commercial and financial acumen, including budget ownership and supplier cost management.
  • The ability to influence suppliers and senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Analytical judgement and a data-led approach to decision-making.
  • Confidence operating within a complex matrix environment.
  • Fluent business English.

Nice to Have

  • A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Background in regulated supply chains, supplier transitions, network optimization, logistics transformation, or automation.
  • Familiarity with major logistics providers, ERP, WMS, transportation management, or business intelligence platforms. Mandarin capability would be an advantage but is not required.

What Sets You Apart

  • Ownership: Take accountability for supplier outcomes, operational performance, and timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborative Influence: Build alignment across suppliers, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and global stakeholders.
  • Sound Judgement: Balance service, cost, compliance, risk, and long-term business value when making decisions.
  • Resilience: Stay focused and decisive during disruptions, escalations, and operational change.
  • Improvement Mindset: Look beyond immediate issues to create more reliable, productive, and sustainable ways of working.
  • Clarity: Communicate expectations, priorities, risks, and performance outcomes with confidence and transparency.
