Job Profile Summary:
In this role, you will provide business friendly legal advice to business units on commercial legal matters involving partnerships and/or introducers and/or bancassurance related matters and on corporate secretarial matters. As part of this dynamic role, you will report to the Chief Legal and Government Relations Officer and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description:
- Provide business friendly legal advice to business units on commercial legal matters involving partnerships and/or introducers and/or bancassurance related matters and on corporate secretarial matters.
- Work with Board members and/or senior stakeholders on Board management issues.
- Manage corporate commercial and/or board related matters efficiently and pro-actively.
- Act as a team lead within the legal team.
Who we are looking for:
- Qualified lawyer with 5 - 10 years PQE
- Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of Insurance contracts, i.e. partnerships and/or introducers and/or bancassurance related contracts.
- Experience in corporate secretarial matters.
- Exposure to the Financial Services Industry, particularly the Insurance Industry and sound understanding of the financial services regulatory framework of Singapore
- Driven, independent, business savvy and meticulous
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders across various levels of seniority
Education:
- LLB (Honours), 5 – 10 years PQE
