- Providing legal advice and support in a wide range of international (ex-China) employment matters including:
- advising on employment legal and regulatory matters, with opportunities to branch out to cover other areas within the overseas legal center, if interested;
- providing legal insight from an employment regulatory perspective to help the company identify and evaluate risks associated with new or complex business activities;
- managing the company's compliance with applicable labor laws by coordinating with relevant internal departments and business units and liaising with external counsel.
- At least 5 years PQE (qualified in Hong Kong, Singapore, US, UK or other comparable common law jurisdiction);
- Employment legal experience in-house or in law firms;
- Prior regional experience working on related matters in the technology field will be a plus;
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills;
- Proactive approach and able to handle matters independently;
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills, ability to collaborate within a team;
- Fluency in spoken and written English and proficient command of Chinese in order to communicate with various stakeholders in headquarters
