Senior Fund Accounting Manager – Hedge Funds
Location : Singapore

What you will be doing :

  • Managing client deliverables in accordance with service agreements and SLAs including NAV preparation and all ad-hoc requests as principal point of contact for fund administration clients.

  • Reviewing and processing fund payments fund manager and third parties

  • Review and calculation of management fees, performance fees, interest and accruals

  • Liaising with clients, brokers and custodians to address client queries and concerns

  • Management of the NAV preparation and review process for our fund administration clients

  • Adoption, integration and set up of new funds in accordance with prescribed procedures

  • Adhering with internal policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with auditing standard as per SSAE 1 6/ SSAE 18 type II and other relevant requirements.

  • Managing client audit deliverables including preparation of financial statements, responding to audit queries, completing audit confirmations and other audit requests

  • Performing due diligence checks on new investors in line with Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing company policies

  • Ensuring compliance with local, jurisdictional and bank-wide AML and KYC standards

  • Working on ad hoc internal projects as required

  • Providing coverage for team members’ deliverables as required

  • Review and understanding fund governing documents for clients to ensure adherence

  • Assist in FATCA related checks and procedures

  • Assisting in the development of new and existing global client relationships, optimizing service offerings, productivity and profitability

  • Train staff on processing complex financial instruments and on all fund related matters.

  • Supervise and review tasks performed by staff, including Net Asset valuations, broker , reconciliations, subscriptions and redemptions reconciliation , financial statements of funds, and liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.

  • Assist in pre launch phase of new funds, including the review of fund documents, PPM (Private Placement Memorandum), set up of the fund structure in the system (PAXUS/Geneva ), and assist clients in opening of bank and broker accounts.

  • Client relationship management and meeting deadlines

  • Assist in any ad hoc tasks being assigned by senior manager managing director.

Skills Required:

  • At least 5 years Senior Fund Accounting experience or Public Accounting experience with alternative investment funds, having exposure to a wide range of global investment activities. 

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

  • Member of C.A, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.

  • Min. 6 years of relevant work experience in fund administration industry.

  • Good communications, interpersonal and problem solving skills.

  • Must have knowledge of general accounting and reconciliation practices and procedures.

  • Flexibility and ability to multi task and prioritize to deliver on time.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

  • Proficiency in using PFS Paxus will be an advantage
