About the Position

We are looking for a seasoned accountant to join our Financial Reporting team. You will be primarily maintaining our books and records for the APAC region, and preparing our monthly and annual financial statements, in collaboration with our regional and global Accounting teams.

Additional responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Preparing or reviewing various accounting reconciliations and financial schedules that support the financial statements
  • Helping team members with their collaboration with outside auditors and advisors, GAAP interpretations, accounting policies and internal control documentation 
  • Working closely with other team members, including our accounting-specific technology team, to improve processes and ensure that our team’s goals are met

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or a related field
  • A qualified accountant with HKICPA or ACCA credentials
  • 7+ years in an accounting role (mix of private and public preferred), including experience with preparing financial statements and account reconciliations
  • Have a solid understanding of IFRS; knowledge in U.S. GAAP is desired but not essential
  • Skilled communicator; able to build strong collaborative relationships across various groups within the firm
  • Self-motivated to improve processes where possible
  • Organised with excellent time management skills; able to handle competing priorities and work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and critical thinker; detail-oriented with a “can-do” attitude when resolving issues
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with the relevant regulatory regimes is preferred
  • Experience with accounting and reporting using Workday (Financial Data Model) is a plus 
  • Fluency in English is required
