The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic individual with strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, and a passion for data. This role encompasses vendor management, contract negotiation, and the opportunity to lead and drive key initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Group’s Enterprise Market Data & Performance Benchmarking needs to drive revenue optimization
- Contract & drive the relationship with suppliers of our Enterprise market data & performance benchmarking data providers.
- Establish, guide & train clusters & users on optimal usage of market & performance benchmarking data platforms to drive actionable strategies for revenue optimization
- Coordinate and oversee competitor set compliance across the network and facilitate evaluation and execution of any required changes.
- Ensure data accuracy in reporting and work with clusters, Data Analytics & vendor to manage any anomaly investigations & data correction.
- Key member of the team developing the framework for & establishing Ascott’s Revenue Management Optimization standards & guidelines for F&B and Function Space – a core growth area for the organization.
- Monitor & Drive the Forecast Accuracy Dashboard performance, ensuring data accuracy from all forecast data sources, enabling the Revenue Management teams at clusters to perform accurate forecasting and revenue optimization.
- Support the department with development, training and implementation of Revenue Management Deck including troubleshooting & data validation for BI (BI Data Models & Power BI) and Oracle EPM – key toolsets that enable properties to drive strategies and revenue generation.
- Provide department administration support.
- Assist in any other ad-hoc Revenue & Distribution Management projects.
Requirements
Experience & Background
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in Revenue Management or Commercial functions.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong understanding of key revenue metrics, market segmentation, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting in rooms, F&B, and event space.
- Hands-on system experience with RMS, PMS, and competitive benchmarking tools. Includes systems & tools such as IDeaS G3, Duetto, RMS Cloud, VHP Cloud, Opera Cloud, CoStar; Demand360. Knowledge of Delphi is a plus.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI; experience in data validation and visualization required.
- Familiarity with data automation, reporting workflows, and BI dashboards.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and training facilitation skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and critical thinking.
- High level of initiative and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
