As an Insurance Operations Senior Executive, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the brokerage firm to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to clients. You will be responsible for managing administrative processes, implementing and improving operational policies and procedures and coordinating activities across various departments. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of insurance brokerage operations.
The Senior Executive, Insurance Operations will be responsible for:- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the brokerage firm, ensuring seamless execution across all operational functions
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational policies, procedures, and workflows to drive efficiency, scalability, and regulatory compliance
- Conduct regular operational gap analyses to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and lead initiatives to address them
- Perform preliminary product line analysis to evaluate market relevance and profitability, translating findings into actionable operational and business strategies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide operational guidance, resolve issues, and support cross-functional initiatives
- Build and maintain effective relationships with external partners, insurers, and vendors to ensure smooth and compliant operations
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in insurance brokerage, proactively incorporating relevant insights into operational planning
- Prepare and present data-driven operational reports, performance analyses, and recommendations
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field required
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in insurance operations or related field
- Possession of CMFAS certifications (BCP, PGI, and/or CGI)
- Independent, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Google Sheet
- Strong understanding of insurance industry regulations, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.
- Additional CMFAS certifications (M5, M9, M9A, and/or HI) is preferred
